The Rural Policy Review for England: early findings from the call for evidence…

Only Labour is taking seriously the concerns of people living in the countryside in this time of pandemic and growing concerns about Brexit impacts; let alone the challenges of so called ‘levelling up’.  This fringe will hear back from the Shadow Defra Secretary on progress on the Rural Policy Review before a panel debate on some of the key elements with time for Q&A.  Panel members to include:

·           Luke Pollard MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Defra

·           Maria Eagle MP, Garston & Halewood, previous Shadow Secretary of State for Defra

·           Mark Bridgeman, President, the CLA
