Join us on Sunday 20th September from 1pm to 2pm on Zoom for our regular lunchtime fringe event bringing together coast and country party members and advocates.
We’ll continue our tradition of taking the air on the issues and solutions being seen and explored by coast and country members and CLPs, with Colin Smyth MSP, Cllr Rosa Bolger and Dr Martin Edobor invited to hear those issues and ideas – before exploring how their ambition for their role will help Labour win over communities of the coast and in the country – from making the case for a rural ‘industrial’ strategy, to ensuring every community has the connectivity it needs, which in the 21st Century means fibre broadband!
Speakers
Colin Smyth MSP, Shadow Rural Economy, Transport and Connectivity Secretary.
Cllr Rosa Bolger, former leader of Witney Town Council, West Oxon District Cllr and member of the Co-op Party NEC.
Dr Martin Edobor, Vice-Chair of the Fabian Society and former parliamentary candidate in Witham, Essex.
Hywel Lloyd, co-founder of Labour:Coast&Country.
